We booked our corporate end of year celebrations on Magic Charters and we were very happy with the service, food and facilities. Natasha was always available to answer any questions in the lead up and we felt very well taken care of by Natasha and Angelo on the boat. We had a fabulous time and honestly the stand out was the delicious food they served! 3 course meal that could stand up against many top notch restaurants!! Thank you!!
My wife and I went on the High Tea afternoon cruise out of Docklands.Everything was 100% fantastic. Attentive and friendly staff who were present but not over-bearing. Lovely spread of food and drink. A nice voyage on an immaculate vessel, which showed us parts of the city and water that we had not previously seen.Can't recommend it highly enough and will definitely treat friends to this experience as a gift.
We did the dinner cruise and sun set. What a great night. The food was fantastic and the staff were awesome. Music was great, and the cruise was so relaxed. Danced and met some really nice people. The scenery was amazing, just lucky to get some good weather.We recommend this cruise.!!!
Wanted to thank all the team for a lovely afternoon on the river.Special mention to Natasha who was so accommodating, in arranging the day for us.Despite a rather dull and wet day the atmosphere on board was so warm and inviting .The staff were friendly and service excellent plus the food was delicious .We enjoyed being on the water and the sights of a working port with such huge vessels ,cranes and tug boats, very interesting .A really lovely way to spend an afternoon and a very nice birthday present from my family
Planned my 40th birthday late February then got to see the actual boat with my girlfriends and first time I met Natasha and Capt. Angelo I said to my self this is the place I will celebrate my special day. The hospitality they showed me that day was extra ordinary. To make the story short we close the deal and booked the boat. Before the event I have been in contact with Natasha every now and then and she never fail me, she always helped me everything I need. Booked for 3 hours and added another hour. On the day of the event she allowed us ample of time to set up the venue. Natasha organised the food and drinks we brought and even herself served food to my guests. My friends were amazed how they kept the toilets very clean the whole time. The staff from the bar Carmen with the help of Jacks 2nd officer and Chief Engineer Ian they are all very good. And also Capt Angelo for setting up the drinks. I had hired a dancers and they all accomodate them from start to finished. I have too many to mention how we enjoyed our party, my Friends got back to me and they are all praising how the staff and the boat made their experience unforgettable. Even myself I still felt the butterflies in my stomach how happy I am after the party. Wow it was above and beyond expectations. Will definitely come back for high tea very soon. We have been on the Magic Charters for the Dinner cruise and the High Tea, we also had our engagement dinner on there. The staff are wonderful and Natasha has always gone out of her way to accommodate us. Food was delicious and there is always a variety of selection for everyone. The view is amazing no matter what season or time of day you go. I highly recommend this. Love this Dinner Sunset Cruise and will continue to go until I'm officially banned 😂😂Thank you team for a wonderful experience everytime.
I'd like to start by giving this experience 4.5 ☆. So many aspects deserved 5 ☆ except for a couple of small details.1. The boat. Lovely and clean. Modern and bright and the tables were spaced out enough that we had privacy. It did get a bit hot and stuffy at times but a visit out to the back of the boat allowed us to cool off in the fresh air. The loyalty free music was a bit like being stuck in an elevator at times :)2. The staff. Lovely, professional yet relaxed. Attentive and polite.3.The food. I was very grateful that Magic charters cater to Vegans and I was able to have a vegan version of the high tea while my husband had his own regular high tea and the couple next to us had a Celiacs version of the high tea.Tea, Coffee and sparkling wine top ups were offered regularly throughout the event. The quality of the food and drinks however were a little underwhelming. A lot (if not all) were obviously store bought items but not unpleasant, just average.4.The cruise. It was so interesting to see Melbourne from so many sides as well as the shipping areas and Williamstown.Getting up so close to the shipping container ships really makes you feel very small in comparison. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was relaxed enough while still feeling a bit special.It was a great finish to our day in the CBD and we would highly recommend it to anyone.
Cannot recommend highly enough! From start to finish, the staff were absolutely incredible! We were looked after so well last night, it was so much fun 😄 Food was amazing, views were amazing & drinks were amazing haha I will be telling everyone about how great this company & experience is! The man that runs it (I unfortunately cannot remember his name) should be massively proud of himself & his team! Thankyou again guys!! 💓
Can highly recommend the high tea event onboard Kingfisher 2. The whole afternoon ran smoothly with excellent service and delicious range of foods. The staff were very attentive and offered drinks, tea and coffee top ups all through the journey. The Kingfisher was beautifully presented and glided through the water effortlessly while we enjoyed the scenery.
Our family of four had a delightful time on our high tea cruise. I am not sure if this is a family run business, but it certainly had that warm, welcoming feeling. The staff were attentive and caring. The food was well proportioned and delicious. Drinks were plentiful. Perhaps the highest praise I can give is our teenagers said they would love to do it again.
Took my mum on the high tea cruise for Mother’s Day and we had such a great time! The food was tasty & plentiful, the drinks were flowing (we enjoyed the sparkling wine top ups!) and the staff were friendly, we enjoyed chatting to who I assume was the captain/manager.Such a great experience, highly recommend!
We did the 3.5 hour dinner & bottomless drinks last night and it was amazing! The staff were great, the food was super tasty and you truely could drink as much as you wanted the whole time! You could go out on the deck as well which was so cool, and it was raining but it didn’t affect us at all it was undercover. DJ downstairs for those who want to have a boogie too. Highly recommend!
Magic Charters was a great experience and value for money at $149 per head for 3.5 hours. Included a 2 course meal and unlimited selected beer, wine and soft drinks. Food temperature could have been improved but overall the experience was great! Staff were accomodating and lovely to deal with :)
Went on The Magic Charter for a Dinner Sunset cruise for my birthday. Food is always lovely, so much to choose from, desert was delicious, endless drinks, DJ was fantastic. Had a wonderful night as always. Service from the initial booking to the end was 10/10. Well done team. Highly recommended this cruise.
Great meal, good fun, lovely staff... boat is well maintained and clean... some seriously dodgy dancing.. but that was us.. not the crew!! Thanks for a great time!
Had a fantastic day out today with Magic Charters. Couldn't fault the friendly, attentive service our group received. The high tea was excellent and well presented. I had only read positive reviews before booking and certainly wasn't disappointed. Couldn't fault anything.
Thank you to the lovely staff for our HIGH TEA experience. It's a shame the food was such a low standard. We were so disappointed with the food which you can buy at the supermarket especially the sweets which were sickly sweet! Not value for money at all.
